Froment-Moroney Leadership in Action

William E. (Bill) Froment
Bill Froment served the Massachusetts Democratic Party for many years. His service as chairman of the Grafton Democratic Town Committee will long be remembered, as will the countless hours he spent working for the election of Democratic candidates.. He was a delegate to the state Democratic conventions for many years, until ill health kept him away from the 1994 convention. His efforts on behalf of the Democratic Party and Democratic candidates were indeed far beyond what most would expect.
Bill’s dedication and commitment to his community went beyond his support of the Democratic Party. He was active for many years in the activities of St. James parish in South Grafton, including directing the Bishop’s Fund. He served as a sergeant in the Army in World War II, and was a member of the National Rifle Association and Delisle-Goulet Post 69, American Legion. He worked for 25 years for the Wyman-Gordon Company.
Bill passed away in November 1994. He will long be remembered for his service to his community and to the Democratic Party.
